I sit here having just read a post from Chelsea. She's sad because tonight is the last night of her last play.
This made me think maybe every journey in high school is like a play on broadway.
Every rehersal, a practice for a soccer game, or prep for a test.
Every stage slap, a fight with your friends.
Every time you mess up a line in your scene, a tardy, or a detention.
Every standing ovation, a sucess, the big win, an A on a test, or a 36 on the ACT.
Maybe everytime we take a bow it's just one journey ending. Like high school. The final bow being throwing our caps into the air.
And although that final bow, may seem like the end, it's not.
It's just one door closing, and another opening.
The door to high school is begining to close for some of my friends, and a much more important door is starting to open.
The door to life.
